Poulina Jóanesardóttir (FO)

Poulina Jóanesardóttir has chosen to write her own story about the Faroese National Costume. She has shown great courage with her free playing with the costume. And no doubt put her colour on it, the way it looks today.

Poulina bought her first loom at the age of 15. She got her education in The Faroes and in Denmark and apart from having her own workshop, she has been teaching for the last 30 years.

Her work at this exhibition have a touch of the national costume.
